Kobe Bryant | All-Star Record
He didn’t get MVP in this year’s All-Star game, but he beat Michael Jordan’s scoring record. That is honorable to say the least.
13 Year Old | Whitney Houston | cover
Man… this kid can sing.
Chris Brown - Turn Up The Music (Behind The Scenes)
C.Breezy has taken the director roll and it seems like the video will be amazing. Much props to the guy adding more skills to his arsenal.

LoveRance ft. 50Cent - UP (beat the p**** up)
A couple years ago Mike Dash E and I created a mixtape series “Clap City” that allowed a new generation of Bay Area rappers to share their music to a larger demographic. This song (featured on Clap City 2) is the epitome of how great this new generation sounds.
Proud to say that I’ve had a helping hand in this. Shouts to Mike Dash E, DJ Amen, and iamSU.
BAY AREA HATING ON DRAKE’S MOTTO VIDEO???!!!
Basically this is my treatment to every Bay Area native who feels the need to have an opinion. Is everyone a video director now? What have you done for The Bay to make you the voice to say what someone can and cannot do while spending time here??
DRAKE was here for one day. The song was leaked before the album dropped. Like anybody smart with their music, making a video IN TIME is important before the song gets played out/old/burned/etc. Do you realize how busy one of the world’s most-listened-to-artist must be???
He came out to the BAY AREA for ONE DAY to record this video. You can only imagine that he only had a little time to make this video as far as his schedule, the director, E40, Mistah Fab, and whoever was involved. With the small window of opportunity, DRAKE STILL GAVE RECOGNITION TO THE BAY AREA.
Instead of all you Bay Area natives feeling “offended” by the video, be proud we were recognized. This video in no way demoralizes anything about the Bay Area.
I’m not saying this as a Drake fan… Just get over it. He made a video in the Bay Area to show us love… How many rappers/artists say “they fuck with the bay” and don’t do anything to show for it?
ARGUMENTS:
“He could have shot more streets in the Bay“ - You can’t possibly coordinate all of this in one day. Trying to record scenes, multiple takes, and staying incognito is very challenging. Drake, Weezy, Tyga stepped into the Bay and did what they could with the time that they had.
“Does he even know Mac Dre?” - Why are you mad? Whether he heard about Mac Dre years ago or yesterday, he recognized talent and gave love.
(photographers/videographers) “Hey I shot those same locations and shots in the Bay way before this video.” - Yeh nigga, you live here. I’d say you lose all “visual” credibility if you couldn’t find these locations in the # of years you’ve been around.
“The video disrespects the bay” - For one, you are not “the bay” in its entirety; speak for yourself. Two, I’m sure E40 has no problem with this video what-so-ever. Drake doesn’t even know you to choose to disrespect you if he wanted to.
(videographers) “I live in the bay, I would’ve done a way better video” - I honestly don’t argue on this, you probably could. BUT do you notice how the real heavyweight videographers from the bay are NOT complaining (ie: TAJ TPK & COLIN TILLEY)? If you think you can do better, then keep doing better and hopefully your talent speaks for itself.
Things that didn’t make sense in the video though:
- lil wayne & his shoes
- tyga & his LA gear
- drake’s cheetah jacket « but watch i see everyone wear that shit later
- drake’s baseball gloves « he did this in “im on one” video too, get over it
DISCLAIMER
I’m not mad or offended by what I’ve seen or heard about the video. It is just disappointing to see people not realize “a little bit of something is better than nothing.” Drake says it all the time that he loves the bay. Say what you want, but you like listening and quoting Drake too.
I’ve gotten to talk to a lot of you (whether YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, or Called me) to find where we don’t see eye to eye. I’m glad some of you opened your eyes a little more afterwards. To those youngbucks still making noise about this video… who are you?
SAVE A DJ CAREER | SAVE A MAC | DJ B-EZ
What happened?
My backpack which was in the DJ booth had apparently been spilled on. It had to have been an insurmountable measure of liquid to completely drench my backpack and all of what was packed inside (my laptop, records, needles, slipmats, DJ GEAR!).
I went into Apple and after 3 days of diagnostics… Basically my MacBook was done for.
How to Help:
The repair was estimated to cost $1200 to get my current MacBook replaced. Like the common consumer, it would probably be best to just buy a new one.
